2.16.2023 - Began working on this on my Chromebook.

2.17.2023 - Early access release. Made the preview engine successful.

2.22.2023 - Now that I’ve finally finished Right Side City, I’ve decided to come back to this. I unshared the project and added music.

2.23.2023 - Made the title screen engine, and learned to reorder lists to prevent bugs.

2.24.2023 - I thought it’d take me forever to make hold notes, but I was wrong! I finally learned it! I also made the save engine for the level editor. Finished the beatmaps for the first two songs!

2.25.2023 - I didn’t change anything this weekend, so I just wanted to give you an update on how well I’m doing in Beat Saber. I actually beat Ghost on Expert+, and the only modifier I used was No Arrows! Call me a liar and see what happens. Maybe I should add that to the list of songs!

2.27.2023 - Started working on the ‘change song’ menu for the level editor as well as the ‘official levels’ menu. Finished the beatmap for the third song!

2.28.2023 - Made three more beatmaps, both in less than an hour. Uploaded the environmental engine. Finished the first lightshow.

3.1.2023 - Finished the second lightshow. Uploaded the note engine.

3.2.2023 - Made further updates to the note engine. Also, today’s my brother @RadicalJul’s birthday, so I remixed one of his favorite songs in GarageBand.

3.3.2023 - Added two more songs that I’ll map later. Finished the seventh song, and I passed it with only two misses on my first try upon playtesting! Also mapped three more songs after that, making a total of four songs mapped today, and ten mapped altogether — whoop! Also started working on Hard difficulty.

3.4.2023 - Worked on the Hard beatmap for “X-Mas The Spot” a little. Also, I beat Spin Eternally, Final-Boss-Chan, and $1.78 on Expert+ in Beat Saber with No Arrows :O

3.6.2023 - I keep thinking this is Beatmapper, so I added keyboard shortcuts. Finished Hard beatmaps #2 and #3, and “Impossible Mode” was driving me BONKERS!! Also, the highest score you can get in “Impossible Mode” on Hard difficulty is 50000 (or at least it will be until I code score multipliers). Made song rates, so that you can set the song speed. The problem is that if the song rate is 1.5 and the song pitch is 60, it won’t work, but with the song rate at 2 and the pitch set to 120, it DOES match up. And I can’t code so advanced for pitch effects, so you can only do speeds like 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, and 2. Added a new sound skin for notes, which is the timpani drums. On hold notes, a timpani drum roll will play, and extra sounds were used to make the sound that usually plays after a roll. Also, the pitch of each “timpani hit” will be based on what note is being used. For me, it’s a bit satisfying, but still — BIG MISTAKE. What have I done…?

3.7.2023 - Made a beatmap for “Symphony No. LSPECTRO” and other stuff and… zzzZZZzzz…

3.8.2023 - I don’t know what to write here…

3.9.2023 - I am taking a quick break from mapping songs to work on the campaign mode. Game is starting to lag, and hopefully, it doesn’t keep up, or this game will be added to the list of unfinished projects…

3.31.2023 - Happy early April Fools’ Day! Sorry I haven’t posted anything. Here is the list of updates since my last post (not in chronological order).

  • Made a Lights3.5w where animations play behind a grid.
  • Made a Lights4.0w similar to the Weave environment made for Beat Saber OST 5. It can ease movement and change colors swiftly.
  • Updated the hold notes to look more pleasing.
  • Added eight new songs (as of right now, six of them support PRISMpossible difficulty ONLY, and the rest don’t support ANY type of difficulty).
  • Added a Deluxe difficulty, where notes will move however the game specifies at the time (haven’t gotten to that part yet). Lanes will also “close” randomly, and if a key is pressed at all when the corresponding lane is closed, your combo will instantly reset to zero and your energy will decrease. Score and accuracy will not be affected, except whenever the combo resets, the score multiplier goes back to one. There will also be special events, such as the ENTIRE screen — notes, HUD, and all — flipping horizontally (this will NOT affect the keybinds in any way, for example, if a D note appears in what used to be the K lane, you still press the D key), and the score feedback being translated to Spanish.
  • Today, I started working on a new song.

4.1.2023 - April Fools! Finished the new song (“I Know More Than You”) and added it to the songlist.

4.6.2023 - I couldn’t go see the Mario movie, so I continued with my game. All I have left for the game is the campaign mode (Prismatica) and the Community Hub that should’ve been in Rhythm Prism 2 (which was unfinished, for itch.io players that are wondering; I AM a Scratcher, you know).

4.8.2023 - Began working on the modifiers.

4.9.2023 - Finished the modifiers, thus a bunch of coding :)

4.10.2023 - Worked on dialogue for the Campaign mode.

4.11.2023 - Finished dialogue encoding, also removed the Beat-Saber-inspired equalizer because it slowed down the game, even on TurboWarp :(

4.12.2023 - Didn’t change much today, so I just want to give an update: I watched the Mario movie today, and I gave it a 20 out of 10, and I would watch again, and I’m already hoping for a sequel :)

4.13.2023 - I made the results screens for the Campaign mode, and I TOTALLY polished the world map.

4.17.2023 - Found a workaround around the reloading problem on an iPad.

4.18.2023 - Added two new platform types for the campaign mode: Small High Platform and Low Decoration. You probably won’t understand how this works yet. Also went to watch the Mario movie again for the enjoyment :)

4.19.2023 - Made better lights for Lights4.0w.

4.20.2023 - A while ago, I took a break from making the lightshow for “I Know More Than You”, because I thought it’d take forever. I just came back to that and I’m already finished! I also optimized the movement for lights and added backlights for Lights4.0w, just like in Beat Saber.

4.25.2023 - Finished the campaign mode. Made end credits. It’s been 8 months since I last did that.

4.26.2023 - Finished the game (already)! It’s just like when I finished Rhythm Prism 3 :)

4.27.2023 - Shared on Scratch! (It should have been shared the day before, but the PRISMpossible list was giving me problems…)
